Williams could play in Turkey
New Jersey Nets point guard Deron Williams already had a deal in place to play in Turkey if the NBA ends up in a lockout.
Williams would play with the team for as long as the lockout would last, which seems like a long time the way things look at the moment.
The All-Star guard was acquired by the Nets in a stunning midseason trade with the Utah Jazz.
He ended up missing some time during the season with a troublesome wrist injury, but that has since completely healed.
He has been in the news lately, being linked as a reason that the team might be able to get Dwight Howard to sign with them when he becomes a free agent after next season.
