Nets give up on Anthony trade
Frustrated by the slow progress of trade talks, the New Jersey Nets say they have thrown in the towel on Carmelo Anthony.
The team’s owner is not pleased with how the trade talks have played out so publicly and become a distraction to the players.
The Nets have been working on a trade for Anthony for more than three months, and frustration as peaked recently.
The owner said he never heard from Anthony, either, so it’s unknown how much he really wanted to come to New Jersey. ( Read More…)
